I am sure there has been at least once where someone asked for a nice photo of you to post on a flyer, on a website, for a zoom call, or on a badge. As a business owner, you may be asked or approached to have your work published or to be featured somewhere.
For those who are not business owners, having a head shot can make you feel amazing! Did you get a drastic new hair cut? Get glasses or contacts? Has it been 10 years since your last professional photograph? Changing careers or looking for a new job?

How do you photograph head shots?
I have two main packages for head shots: mini and Gold. For the mini, all you do is show up and we grab a few head shots of you and that's it! The Gold package is a bit more in depth, with the option of 1-2 clothing changes if we have time. There are some additional questions asked during the booking process that helps me tailor your longer head shot session specifically to your needs, rather than just general head shots.
When will I get my photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with your photos within 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You will favorite the images you would like downloaded (based on your package) and I will provide you with a download link to those images. Additionally, you will be able to buy prints and downloads for all the images in your gallery.
Where will the photos be taken?
You will get a choice of location based on my availability and within 20 miles of zip code 98270. For Gold head shot sessions and office/team sessions, I am able to accommodate other locations depending on the time of year and location.
What do I wear?
My number one rule is wear what makes you feel comfortable! While your look is going to depend on what you are using these photos for, please don't wear something that makes you feel self-conscious or uncomfortable - that will not result in natural, nice photographs. Your photographs should show the real, authentic you - so put on something that you normally would wear. How would your clients or customers normally see you? Be yourself! The better you feel about yourself going in, the more that is reflected in your head shots.
Why does it cost so much?
I know the price is shocking to some, but head shots are considered commercial photography. Head shots are usually used to make you money or to get a job, and therefore, there is a different license attached to them. The price you are paying includes that license use. If you use your head shot for a political campaign, modeling agency, or even as a marketing tool on your website, it technically falls outside personal use. Once it falls outside personal use, it needs a different license. To make things more simple, I include the price of the license into the session fee so you don't have to do the math! You're welcome.
